Macbeth

Act 2, Scene 1, Line 1 to line 4

Banquo: How goes the night boy?
Fleance:  The moon is down; I have have not heard the clock...

Banquo: Hold, take my sword. There’s husbandry in heaven. Their candles are out. Take thee that too. A heavy summons lies like lead upon me, And yet I would not sleep

Explanation:
Banquo is tired but can not sleep because something feels wrong.

Act 2, Scene 4, Line 21

Macduff: Why, see you not?
Ross: Is ‘t known who did this more than bloody deed
Macduff: Those that Macbeth hath slain.

Explanation:
They suspect Macbeth has killed Duncan


Act 2, scene 2

Macbeth: There’s one did laugh in’s sleep and one cried, “Murder!” That they did wake each other. line 20 p. 28
Explanation: One of the servants laughed in his sleep, and one cried murder. and they woke each other up. The servants were sleeping during the murder.

Macbeth: Will all great Neptune’s oceab wash this blood clean from my hand. line 58 p. 29
Explanation: If i ever wash my bloody hands in the ocean it will turn red.

Scene 3

Lennox: Their hands and faces were all badged with blood. So were their daggers, which unwiped we found upon under their pillows.

Explanation: The guards hands and faces were covered with blood. So were their daggars which we found under their pillows.
